This is so Funny...

The multi-purpose FutureCard will be the version of our perpetually metamorphosing IC in the near future. With an embedded smart chip, it can also be used as a passport, store our medical history, driver's license, act as an ATM card, serve as an electronic purse and even be used at the National Library...what ever you do with the card...you will be tracked! It may also be a tracking device via GPRS / Bluetooth (Good or Bad, depending on the situation). However, a recent debate has brought to light the questionable control on access, potential information abuse and privacy infringement. As the debate rages on, I can foresee a likely scenario when ordering pizzas in the near future...

Operator: "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut Geylang. May I have your..."

Customer: "Haloo, arh...can I orler huh..."

Operator: "Can I have your Future Card number first, Sir?"

Customer: "It's arh..., hold on prease, arh.....S6102-0499-54610FC"

Operator: "OK... you're... Tan Ah Beng alias 'Or Kwee Tao' and you're calling from 17-D Lorong 14, Geylang. Your home number is 67828828, your office 6782 8838 and your mobile is 96828848. Which number are you calling from now Sir?"

Customer: "Home lah! How you get all my phone lumbers, arh?"

Operator: "We are connected to the 'FutureCard' system Sir"

Customer: "OK lah, okay lah...Can I orler your Seafood Pisar..."

Operator: "That's not a good idea Sir"

Customer: "Why....Cannot arh?"

Operator: "According to your latest medical records, you have high blood pressure and even higher cholesterol level Sir"

Customer: "What?... medical lecords also hab... You lecommend lah?"

Operator: "Try our Low Fat Hokkien Mee Pizza. You'll like it"

Customer: "Wah...How you know I like Hokkien mee, arh?"

Operator: "You borrowed a book entitled "Popular Hokkien Dishes" from the National Library last week Sir"

Customer: "OK...OK...Buay Ta Han liow... I give up... Gif me three family sized ones then, how much arh?"

Operator: "That should be enough for your family of 10, Sir. The total is $45..."

Customer: "I pay by FutureCard...Can or Not?"

Operator: "I'm afraid you have to pay us cash, Sir. Your credit card is over the limit and you owe your bank 6720.55 - since October last year"

Customer: "KNN!... Everything also know...chiat lat!"

Operator: "That's not including the late payment charges on your housing loan Sir."

Customer: "Okay lah...I run to ATM and withdraw some cash before you come my house lor"

Operator: "You can't Sir. Based on the records, you've reached your daily limit on machine withdrawal today....with the latest withdrawal of $250 for 4D and TOTO at 2.46 pm"

Customer: "Never mind just send the pizzas, I borrow money from my Ah Mah. How long arh?"

Operator: "About 45 minutes Sir, but if you can't wait you can always come and collect it on your motorcycle...it'll be ready in 15 mins and you are only 5 mins away"

Customer: "Where got transport?"

Operator: "According to the details in your FutureCard", you own a Honda Scooter... registration number FE 3288..."

Customer: "KNN!"

Operator: "Better watch your language Sir. Remember on 15th July 1987 you were convicted of using abusive language on a policeman...?"

Customer: [Speechless and calms down after being reminded of the brush with the law]

Operator: "Is there anything else Sir?"

Customer: "Nothing... by the way... still got stock of that 3 free bottles of cola as advertised or not?"

Operator: "We normally would Sir, but based on your records you're also diabetic......"

Customer: [Heard cursing away as he slams down the phone and telling his family he is going to the Hawker Centre to 'Tar Pow']

Yesterday catched up with Anna. We were on our way to Ngee Ann City via Wisma Atria link. However we were blocked by the security guards. Basement 1 Istean was flooded! The water seeped down from escalator like waterfall. Out of the sudden some platform fell from level 1 to basement with a loud bang! Shocked all. We thought we were trapped in some massive tsunami.. Quick! Grab anything available! Grab anything Valuable! HELP! GRAB DIAMONDS! Nah, i was day dreaming.. Nothing very serious happened. But it's a fact that Istean was flooded. We cant get out via level 1 exit at Wisma, so we made our way back to Orchard MRT and exit via there. So glad that we were out.. We went looked at the situation at a safe level. Here's what i shot.. (My HP resloution not that good... ~)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
A pipe outside Wisma was damaged. There's 2 water-sucker-kinda-vacuum-machine trying to get the water away from the mall...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The place was partly ruined by the water. Expensive shoes and shawls... good thing the water wasn't more than ankle height.. Nothing much was lost. But the carpet and the day sales gone~...

After KPO-ing, we made our way to Paragon's Nooch. After so many years, i'm back at Paragon Basement. Memories started to ooze into my mind. 1st time stepped into where i had already memorised. Same place, but much later... One song came to my mind, "陪你渡过最温暖的中午..."

Nooch was good. Anna recommended Yoko Udon.

Some flash anyone?

I'm still in search of blog skins.. I wanted something that is errie yet cute.. like living dead dolls where every doll is kept in a coffin-look-alike box and has a death cert stating how it died... or a cuter one "Happy Tree Friends", but my sis prohibit me doing it.. In case you never heard of Happy Tree Friends, check out their webby with some flash.

http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/watch_episodes/index.html

I should rate it M18.. Cos afterall, it's kinda gross cartoon flash.. Every animal died horribly in every episode.. I could still remembered Danny recommending me and my group Happy Tree Friends' Flash for some Flash Project.. For once we thought it was some cute flash (The name was indeed cute what.. ) but went in and was a little shocked to see the flash.. lolz..

Anyway bought the tix for Oei! Sleeping Beauty The Wake Up Musical. This upcoming one was a little more expensive than Selena Tan & Hossan Leong's Talk Show "It Takes 2", it's title captured me & sis's attention and am pretty looking forward to it. Afterall, the last musical watched with sis was Chang & Eng and it was sooooo many donkey years ago.. we always go concerts and seldom musicals.. I missed Chang & Eng! I should had bought their soundtrack at the spot that donkey years ago.. Haiz.. Their songs are fantastic! I think i'm one of Selena's fan and yup, Oei! Sleeping Beauty has Selena in it.. Lolz.. She's good lah.. Funny yet knowledagble...

okay.. time for some flash relaxation.. byez..

Thursday tml!

Had been invigilating the prelim exams for the second day. Yesterday was 1.5hour, today was 1.5hr, 5 mins break, another 1.5hr. It's their O levels English paper 1 & 2 as well as "A" levels GP.. Had been asked to help invigilate since i'm the most free and available one around..

Invigilation sucks! It's never fun. I spent so much time staring at the students, looking at who were the gone case ones (gone case: spent their time looking back at me and stoned and doing their essay on their head instead of on the paper).. The prelims were in the hall, so able to fit like 80+ students.. "A" levels students were pretty much engrossed in their GP.. read their topics.. it's a killer. So is their paper 2. Dun really know how to write! Great thing that i'm only see see look look and not take. I may just fall dead right at the spot if i were to take it.. haahaa...

After the invigilation, boss treated me and my colleagues some yummies..

Though it's from our pathetically-nothing-to-eat-and-still-so expensive-after-staff-discount-sian cafe and had no comparison to Swensens or Hagen Daz or Ben & Jerry's, it's still good lah.. since it's a treat.. haahaa

Oh, just being in good mood to post my photo, here it is.. 1st time wor~

Taken by my youngest 'Neo' cousin who is only pri 1 and already knows how to use my K700i and add frame to the shoot. Gasp! What was i even doing when i was at THAT tender innocent age? Anyway, it's me with spects and without makeup.. haahaa.. Good thing the resolution isn't that clear.. sometimes we do not have to see things in much intense and clarity. Things may not be what we had expected. It's not even a white lie. Haahaa...

Ending off with some rubbish i read in National Library some time ago.

Question: In what circumstances does 'Q' comes before 'P'?

My thoughts: "Huh? My ABC quite good mah, "O,P,Q,R,S..." It's P before Q mah... Then i looked out for the answer..

Answer: In toilet. How so?

You gotta Queue before you Pee...

~Some Stupid Thoughts~

1) If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?

2) Do Lipton Tea employees take coffee breaks?

3) If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?

4) If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes? hehehehe......
5) Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery? OOpps...
6) Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
7) If horrific means to make horrible, does terrific mean to make terrible?
8) Why is it called building when it is already built?
9) If a book about failures doesn't sell, is it a success?
10) If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?
