I AM BACK....!

Dear fellow bloggees,

I am finally back! Yup, had a short trip to KL. I know, not very far why must announce that I'm back... 3D2N tour to KL, me and LJ stayed in Federal Hotel (yes, that's our 2nd time staying there after the Aug trip). For photos, I haven't really upload it. Will update it once I got it up.

Day 1: SG to KL
Woke up super early (about half an hour earlier than my usual 6.30am time), took cab down to where else, Golden Mile. This time round, we went by Konsortium. Double decker coach with wide foot rest and comfy seats, we easily reached KL with minor complaints... (Only that the coach routed to Sunway Lagoon to alight passengers that I din like, cos I can't/din plan that place in so can only snap photos on the bus) Reached Federal only about 2.30pm. Dumped the luggages and off we went to Berjaya Times Square. Booked movie tix for "The Bee movie". RM9, cheap ley, must watch.. Off we go to the Cosmo Indoor Theme Park. Saw that there is 3D IMAX said-to-be biggest screen in asia that is 5 storeys high, we decided to see what show is playing. Ended up it's Ocean Wonderland, so we bought RM15 tix to catch the 3D show b4 theme park. Nice understanding of the underwater world, corals and fishy swimming.. dolphins, sharks... good 45 mins documentary show... (yawnz for those who aren't ocean lovers)

Got into Cosmo for RM32. Beware: They consider now as school holiday and hence, RM35 per adult. But heng heng we got coupon from some brochure we got from hotel, we got RM3 off. Since so ex, we decided to play till we faint! When we are outside, we thought got so many things to play... But by the time we got in, we were like, chey, only like that ah... Played almost all the adventurous ones.. The indoor roller coaster was a great way to release all stress. Scream at the very top of the lungs and suffer loss of voice after that... Played till 8pm+, we exited for shopping and makan before watching "the Bee". Too engrossed in shopping led us to only 15mins of makan time. We decided to do the same thing we do in Singapore, SMUGGLE FOOD IN!! We bought Merry Brown Burger set meal and packed into our bags of stuff and went in.. I tell you the Merry Brown Burger super shiok! Hot and spicy and tender. Nice and yummylicious! Movie was definitely worth the price.. Noticed many people also smuggle MacDonalds, KFC etc in.. Scarly they can openly bring food in...? Anyway the show ended about 11.30pm and we walked back to hotel, calling it a day.

Day 2: Full day
The itinerary that I'd had planned is to get to Mid Valley. But, I had never go before and I have no intention of spending on cabs. So with map of KL on hand, I asked my roomie if she dare to explore with me by taking their trains (If she din want then we spend on cab loh, but it will be ex ex ex and cabbies will tok tok tok our cai tao one...) She's fine so we went for the monorail change LRT adventure.

Their LRT not that ulu lah, pretty good but small, but not lotsa people taking it... We need to take LRT from Berjaya Times Square to their interchange and transfer to another LRT to Bangsa (where Mid Valley offer free shuttle bus). Their interchange not really interchange, must come out of the station and walk a short distance one. Like walk from Tampines Interchange to Tampines Mall distance. We asked around how to go to the next train station loh. Managed to take the correct train to the correct station. But, our next problem is, Saya Tak Teng nok uper Shuttle Bus! (I din see what Shuttle Bus) We asked the control station auntie and she only pointed to one direction. One very heng thing is that, by the time we go to the pointed place, the once-every-half-an-hour shuttle bus came.. But I din see the signboard stating that there is shuttle bus leh.. Or my eyes stick stamp le... But anyway we reached Mid Valley in total 35mins (from Berjaya), costing RM2.60 per pax... Cheap yah...

Mid Valley.. Killer place.. Why? It's Super duper bbbbiiiiggg~! Said to be the biggest shopping mall in Asia... Combination of Marina Square and Suntec (Candice's rough estimate). Everything you name it they have it. International brands, Bowling Alley, Cinema, KTV, Pets wonderland, Kids Wonderland, Condom shop, Toy shop, Paper shop (they made nice nice box with big ribbons on), RM5 shop, Puzzle shop, cartoon shop... Spent 4 hours there and our feet were already aching! My planned timing was to leave Mid Valley at 5pm and move on to KLCC but we got delayed a little cos we have yet to cover everything.

Bangsa (Mid Valley shuttle bus stop de station) to KLCC is on the same railway line so no need to change here and there.. About RM1.30? Can't remember... But save our hassle le... With bags of purchases gotten from Mid Valley, we reached KLCC with 70% sore legs. Due to our hotel yummy breakfast buffet, we managed to skip lunch and dinner. We bought light snacks from Cold Storage at KLCC and made our way to the romantic garden behind KLCC. I wanted to take beautiful shots of the twin towers and from my research says that there is this garden that we can snap nice pix of the twin, so I planned the picnic in the park 6.15pm to 7.30pm. Day slowly gave way to the night and the 7.15pm sky is so baby blue (I definitely put up the photos once I uploaded it) I took lotsa photos and the timing is perfect. I love the color of the sky as its backdrop... Lovely~

Wanted to move on to The Eye aka Ferris Wheel in KL.. We got free tix from Konsortium... But according to the customer service @ KLCC, we need to take train from KLCC to transfer to another train then take taxi in, we plan on taking taxi directly from KLCC to The Eye. Cabbie quote us for RM20, we rejected and agreed that it is not worth the money just to go to the lake to sit the free ferris wheel. We decided to take train back from KLCC to Berjaya.

Again need to change train. But this time we need to alight at Dang Wangi (1 stop away from KLCC - RM1.00) and change to Bukit Nanas which is the same railway line as Berjaya.. Again got walking distance. Dang Wangi /Bukit Nanas just nice the station for the KL Tower.. Wanted to see if we can walk in and go up the 4th tallest tower in Asia.. But in front of us is machiam like Fort Canning.. We dare not walk in and hence abandon the thought for going high high high into the sky...

8.30pm.. Too early to go back hotel, we decided to buy train tix to Bukit Bintan, one stop before Berjaya.. It's near Lot 10 and Sungei Wang.. Saw some street performances... Night life has just begun... Watched a little, we made our way around.. Somehow reached Sungei Wang (5 mins walk away from our hotel).. Went in and happened to witness their Dumbo Jumbo Queen finals..
The competition for fat beautiful ladies... They really shaked and danced well leh... Walked till about 10pm and literally dragged our 98% sore legs back to hotel.

Day 3: KL to SG
Final day at KL. Munched and gulped down our breakfast buffet, we realised we were the last breakfast customers... The waiters kept bringing the juices and fruits to our tables, expecting us to finish it!

Went final shopping @ Sungei Wang... Seriously this 1000+ retail shop shopping mall has lotsa young ppl stuff.. 2nd time got lost and can't find Giant inside... 1st trip in Aug also can't find it, 2nd time still failed to find it.. It's a good place to shop, but considering that our sore legs still at 30% soreness, we shopped for necessity. Gotten local munchies and wanted to exit at the exit where our hotel is, WE GOT LOST! Judging from Candice's good sense of direction, it's either it's too big or that Candice is getting real old. I opted for the earlier choice of course! Somehow, we walked around the whole of their basement to find one exit which somehow supposed to be there but wasn't there.. Walked past MacDonald's and KFC upteen times but no exit to be found.. Sheesh... We went up to Level 1 eventually. I suggested basement cos the exit is really at the basement level. By going to Level1 means we still need to take the lift/stairs down by one level. I super boi song that I can't find the exit.. I still dunno why I can't find it.

Coach ride to SG was fun. We were not able to sleep so we had some self shots... Cos we both had shawls and LJ was wearing some winter wear long sleeves top, we decided to do a winter sonata shots. At the back of the 1st floor double deck, the 2 of us occupying the 4 seater (no one mah, so my bags took up the other 2 seats) did the wu lian pai (5 continuous shots) visualizing us having temperature of -21 degrees whereas the actual temperature on coach is 21 degrees..

I think the China couple in front of my 2 empty seats also "tong bey tiao" us... The driver of the coach was very nice to us.. Cos onboard the coach, I've asked for a mineral water (forgot to kup from hotel) but they dun provide for ride back.. The driver was nice enough to provide me with Grass Jelly canned drink instead, out of his own pocket.. Then I asked if any in coach entertainment (seeing that there's TV but no shows on). He put Lake Placid for us to watch.. Actually on Level 1 we have 6 ppl (2 sets of couples and us).. Only me and LJ watched the show while the others zzz-ing... Again, they must had "tong bey tiao" us... Heck care... Managed to finish the whole show...

Aloy came fetched us and we went steamboat at Marina Bay.. Heard from the hawkers, 5 weeks later, the whole place will be closed and give way to IR... Suddenly, there's a sadness for this unprepared information. Because that's the place where many gatherings were held and a hub for steamboat.. Next time cannot go there play bowling and eat steamboat le.. So peeps, last time round at Marina Bay, hurry up before it closes in late Dec!!

Now came online and shun bian check office emails.. Was rudely shocked by the 100 unread emails that I had in my inbox.. I'm still trying to read all emails... Half way through... Yahoo emails not bad, having 50+ only...

Realised that we really saved on cab fares and food.. Din eat lots apart from the breakfast... Oh yah, during my trip, I heard one funny song.. Catchy actually.. Wanted to share.. It's call 没有钱你会爱我吗 by 雷龙...

For those who din want to watch the clip, here's the lyrics:

这深夜里我想说爱你
不知道该从哪说起
屏幕的那头是熟悉的你
而现在出现了距离

好像认识你从上辈子起
每天晚上有我陪着你
爱你在心里我从未提起
而此刻出现了距离

没有钱你会爱我吗
简单的一句话
没有钱你会爱我吗
我愿做个傻瓜
没有钱你会爱我吗
真心的一句话
没有钱你会爱我吗
我想听听你的回答

Haha... Nightz....

Back from Deepavali one day break. Had not a bad rest, going to quite a number of places.

Went home and saw this on my desk...

Picture taken and edited by my sis. Yesh, finally got the tix. Me and my sis usually go for free concerts. Went to Jay Chou, Jacky Cheung, JJ, SHE, Fish Leong, 信乐团,Energy, Elva and back date to older groups like Westlife, A1, Wewe... When we first go for Jay Chou's Fantasy Concert at Suntec, we went cos no one is going and my aunt has like quite a number of remaining tix... But now, there isn't remaining and that we need to take out money to watch. Previously I only paid for the musicals (like Chang & Eng, Phantom of the Opera) and will not pay for concerts.. But now that the sales are so hot for Jay, we have no choice but to part with our money.

I very much believe that it will be a worth it show, though the tix is equivalent to one small size sofa, or 1 mp3... So, looking forward to the show...

This morning got a rude shock in the office. Some other dept colleague sent an email in regards to one minor matter talking about me embarrassing their dept due to one of my blunders. Correct, I had not inform my students to change venue and the fact that I am having so many things on hand and that my colleagues had left the company, and new colleagues were so new.. So it happened that another client of theirs had came over to view the place and had a shock my students were inside. Cos the classrooms were used for O Levels exams, we had to move the still on going course to other venue (my colleague territory)... So this colleague from other dept sent an email attention to me, cc her manager, cc her general manager, cc my general manager, and cc the overall CEO in charge about it. What's the freaking big deal about it? No wonder she has a ASS in the name (in one way of another). The email wasn't very friendly.. Anyway, I'm still figuring out how to reply to all with a very apologetic tone... I also dun wish to happen what...

Anyway, it's Friday and Candice should not tink too much. Exams are still running and get your head in the exams..

Yesterday went watch movie Stardust. If you like fairytale with spells, witch, ugly frog turned handsome prince, pirates... Then you shouldn't miss it.

The storyline is very simple lah. One common man(Charlie Cox as Tristan) who is in love with a dumb blonde (cast name Victoria), promised to bring a star to her to ask for her hand. So happen that there's this falling meteorite (Claire Danes as Yvaine) who got hit by a magic necklace and descend to earth to a place call Kingdom of Stormhold. That place is like 'the other world', a supernatural universe, having candles that can transport people to go to the place they wanna go... So Tristan managed to get to the star using the candle. Due to the fact that if anyone eats the star's heart, they will live forever. So there is a group of evil witches(including Lamia by Michelle Pfeiffer) and power mad princes chasing after the star. Lamia and her co were about 400 old witches and wanted to be youthful again... So go all the way out to try to kill the star. Tristan protects the star so as to bring to the dumb blonde gf... But during the journey he fell in love with her..

Robert De Niro was guest starred as a pirate (Captain Shakespeare) whom people scared of him as he's famous for throwing victims out of his air ship.. But the real fact is that, he is gay and has a walk-in wardrobe full of fanciful costumes and feathery shawls.. Quite hilarious to see Robert De Niro painting a heart shape on his mole and wearing a skirt dancing around.. Oh ya, he's the one responsible for Tristan change from a ugly looking curtain-hair guy to a better looking hunk..

Go watch bah.. Not a bad haha show...

Still a gong dai..

I am so lost.. Loss of energy and mind..

I am so super exhausted of strength.. Today's only 1st day of the week and I thought I am not able to survive through. Students are completing their O Levels soon and I'm glad of it. However, new problems will arise with it.. Sometimes I may try to run away from the problem. But running away isn't a solution to it. Ultimately I will still be the one to solve it..

Today new colleagues joined us. Gotta orientate them and teaching them from scratch. It's tedious, especially while I'm fire fighting at somewhere then suddenly someone come up to me to ask me to teach 'fire fighting'.. Seriously if i have 48hours per day and work 12hours a day (now it's my 11th hour here le since i reached at 7am), my tonnes of undone stuff are like 有增无减... Anyway, hopefully they can help out in one way or another. Sigh.. working for 4 years already grumbles so much.. imagine there's another 40years to go before retirement...

Today also went to Tan Tock Seng visit a student. Got hospitalised due to food poisoning. It seemed so familiar.. cos few years ago I suffered the same fate. Seeing her lying in her ward feeling so weak made me feel that we gotta cherish our health a lot..

Okay lah, I think I gotta go back and rest le.. Cos I got another 4 days to fight through before the next weekend's arrival. Opps, thursday's a bonus.. Forgot.. Got public holiday.. hohoho...

Wish me luck (esp very good ones..) throughout this week.

Kum Xia Kum Xia
