...Phrase for thoughts...

There are two ways to live your life :
1 way is to treat everything in life a Miracle,
and the other way is to treat Nothing as Miracle

Which one would you choose?

~A Series of Unfortunate Events~

1) My bus 151 was non-aircon again! This happens everyday! Day & Night! The ratio for air con bus to non-aircon is 1:5. Only when i'm in real luck then i catch the aircon bus. I think SBS really did it on purpose. Reason: Lotsa students using concession taking this bus... Primary school. sec sch, JC, Poly, uni... SBS wun earn mah. Non-aircon is the cheapest available, they cant possibly gave us anything worse. Good thing my sis wrote a 'feedback' letter to SBS (Actually it's for her future benefit as she will be taking from Hougang to NUS.. haha 1.5 hour ride). Reminds me of my 3 years 1 hour bus journey as well.

2) Helped mum get her medicine from the clinic. That 'missy' machiam didn't see me and took her own sweet time do her stuff behind the counter. I was super pissed with her freaking(intention: not only this word but gotta maintain a healthy blog) attitude as if people owe her hundreds. Customer service personnel should have a professional image that personal affair should not affect attitude towards work mah.. Where's their feedback form? I 'excused me' twice then she 'LL' come over to attend to me. Got the drug and paid and left the unsatisfactory place.

3) Today Jay Chou is coming to Singapore to do promo for Initial D with Edison Chen, Shawn Yue. Like what the newspaper says, it's the combination once in 300years. I actually intended to miss it. Didn't change shift with colleague, gladly sit my a** on my shift till 8pm. What the hell was i thinking? Jay Chou walking on 200m red carpet and i'm giving a miss?! (unfortunate events? Haha, er, if the event is on friday, i can catch it...dun wanna trouble my colleague again and again..)

4) My nicely done manicure has been accidentally scratched on the 3rd day.. I ended up removing it on thurs.

Actually things aren't that bad. It's pure exaggeration. Haahaa.. Life is like that coz i chose it to be. So can't blame others..

*Shrugs*

-~-Fabric Of Life-~-

I want to say something to all of you
Who have become a part of the fabric of my life
The color and texture
Which you have bought into
My Being
Have become a song
And I want to sing it forever.
There is an energy in us
Which makes things happen
When the paths of other persons
Touch ours
And we have to be there
And let it happen
When the time of our particular sunset comes
Our thing, our accomplishment
won't really matter
A great deal
But the clarity and care
With which we have loved others
will speak with vitality
of the great gift of life
we have been for each others.

Some Hmms to think about

I've compiled a list of roads in Singapore to ponder about. What is your opinions?

Orchard Road - Where is the orchard in Orchard Road?
Ang Mo Kio (Eurasian's Bridge in Hokkien) - Then where is 'Gek Lien Kio'(Indian Bridge) or 'Tng Lang Kio' (Chinese bridge)? OR another meaning is Tomato. Then where is Potato (Kang Tan) then?
Bras Basah - Does it sell lotsa bras?
New Bridge Road - Is it always that new?
Hougang (Back of the 'harbour') - Then where's the front? Harbour Front? So far?!
Penang Road - Huh? Penang in Singapore? You kidding me?!
Still Road - Duh, you expect the road to be moving around?
Handy Road - Well sometimes it comes in handy isn't it?
Red Hill - Does the guy really bled that much to cover the hill with his blood? (myth/fact?)
Lavender - Take a deep breath. Any lavender smell around Lavender?
Orange Groove - Free oranges anyone?
Bedok - Is the bed in Bedok ok?
Tampines - why is it call 'temp per niece' when it's spelt as 'tam pines'?
Lim Tua Tao Road - Big head with Lim as surname road?
Buffalo Road - Lotsa buffalos eh?

Life is Full of...

Life is full of... Waiting. Everything gotta wait. When you wanna eat, you gotta queue. Then wait for food to arrive. When you study, you gotta wait for the school to inform if you're accepted, wait for class to start, wait for exam results to announce...and a whole list of waiting... forever on-going...

Life is full of... Choices. You choose what your choice. Dun do what you dun wanna do. You can choose not to do it. Once you've chosen, you gotta make the best of it. You can't blame on others as it's you who choose to be in it. You can choose to quit what you dun want.

Life is full of... Opportunities. Everywhere there are opportunities. It only depends when and how you how it. You're overwhelmed with jobs that aren't in your work scope. There is an opportunity to learn.

Life is full of... Dislike. You dislike the way your boss treats you. You dislike the fact that no one agrees with you. You dislike yourself. You dislike everyone. You dislike the world. You dislike lots of stuff...

Haahaa... Okay, here it is. My list of Life is Full Of... Agree with me? Disagree? I dislike you if you disagree...

--:: 10/06/05::--

It's been long since I blog in. Reason? I had been attending an evening course which starts from 6.30pm to 12mn. Midnight! So I changed shift with my colleague. But also due to the fact that my company is organizing some event and I'm heavily involved in it which lasted 4 hours per day, I only have 4 hours to do my work. That's shiok! Shiok? That means I have to complete my usual work stuff in like 4 hours. These days I had been feeling not enough time. Indeed I am very short change of time. Time passes fast. That's good right? It's too fast! Great that today there is no co event so I can sit down and have my 8 hours totally committed to my work and not forget my blog! Heehee...

Okay about the course I took up, we are not supposed to market it and reveal anything learnt. So I guess it's for you to discover during the training. I myself feel that this course is a little too ex (4 figure sum) for a week course. Great thing that it's sponsored.

Okay guess I gotta work hard now. Update later~!

~::Jay Chou Craze Back Again::~

Dear Sis,

Thanks for lending your 1.5G mp3 to me and willing to exchange for my 256mb for a few days. You really fully utilised it hor? Ahh!! I really 'hate' you for putting all Jay Chou songs in! All his songs from 1st album right up to latest album and not forgetting the concert live CDs. I think mine at most can only store 40 songs.. and you had not only his, Fish Leong's as well! But anyway, fyi, JAY IS COMING ON 21/06/05 TAKING SQ1 FLIGHT.. He will be attending the movie premiere at Shaw House at 7pm and organizers said that they will have a VERY LONG red carpet for him to stroll his way down. I dun suppose i can make it cos by the time i go down, i dun wanna be as disappointed as Won Bin's incident... hai... Jay will be here for one day and be going to Malaysia the day after that.. If you happen to be going, just say hi to him for me. Wahaha...

Oh i received a link and found that this guy is really good cos he compile parts and parcel of different songs to make into one song.. Enjoy~

What A Night!

It happened last night. It's as if my foul mood wasn't worse enough, my way home from office completed the 'worsest' bit.

I was waiting for my bus 64/65 (both reaches my transition venue) when a little boy dropped his little toy. Out of kindness i bent down to pick up for him. His mother then said, "say Thank you to Auntie..." The boy obediently 'thank you auntie..' AUNTIE! AUNTIE! I am not even 22! This is the 3rd time mothers calling their kids call me Auntie. Am I that old? Was i wearing beyond my age? With the word "Auntie" still ringing in my ear, i boarded my bus with sinking heart.

Sheesh.. what's wrong with the bus? or maybe what's the event in Little India? Why almost everyone on board is Indian? Sorry for being a racist but when you faced the same situation i'm in, you will know what i mean.. The 'aroma' shot into my nostrils and frankly speaking, i was gasping for clean air in a totally air-con bus! My face was almost green when i reached MacPherson and i got off the very 1st bus stop at MacPherson. I found that i managed to breathe again.. Gosh, my stupid bus 151 is NON-AIRCON again. For the past 3 years i had been taking 151 to school and yet after complains and feedbacks and suggestions to SBS, they still had this 151 bus for non-aircon.. Maybe it's blessing in disguise? At least we wun get trapped breathing the same air as i had on my 64/65 bus (I forgot what number i took but it's the same route).. Indeed it's not the same air... My non-aircon 151 so happenly to be slowly going behind a rubbish truck. BEHIND IT! Behind refers to when the truck is in front and my bus is following close.. My 'Fresh Air' ride has gone case! The bus driver seems so happily following behind and refused to overtake. It lasted for 10 mins..approx 5 bus stops before my bus stopped for the red light...

Haiz.. Maybe the one thing i can be optimistic with is the cheaper bus ride i had.. if it's an air-con bus, it will be a few cents more. So in conclusion, i still save a little.. Haha...
