What A Night!
It happened last night. It's as if my foul mood wasn't worse enough, my way home from office completed the 'worsest' bit.
I was waiting for my bus 64/65 (both reaches my transition venue) when a little boy dropped his little toy. Out of kindness i bent down to pick up for him. His mother then said, "say Thank you to Auntie..." The boy obediently 'thank you auntie..' AUNTIE! AUNTIE! I am not even 22! This is the 3rd time mothers calling their kids call me Auntie. Am I that old? Was i wearing beyond my age? With the word "Auntie" still ringing in my ear, i boarded my bus with sinking heart.
Sheesh.. what's wrong with the bus? or maybe what's the event in Little India? Why almost everyone on board is Indian? Sorry for being a racist but when you faced the same situation i'm in, you will know what i mean.. The 'aroma' shot into my nostrils and frankly speaking, i was gasping for clean air in a totally air-con bus! My face was almost green when i reached MacPherson and i got off the very 1st bus stop at MacPherson. I found that i managed to breathe again.. Gosh, my stupid bus 151 is NON-AIRCON again. For the past 3 years i had been taking 151 to school and yet after complains and feedbacks and suggestions to SBS, they still had this 151 bus for non-aircon.. Maybe it's blessing in disguise? At least we wun get trapped breathing the same air as i had on my 64/65 bus (I forgot what number i took but it's the same route).. Indeed it's not the same air... My non-aircon 151 so happenly to be slowly going behind a rubbish truck. BEHIND IT! Behind refers to when the truck is in front and my bus is following close.. My 'Fresh Air' ride has gone case! The bus driver seems so happily following behind and refused to overtake. It lasted for 10 mins..approx 5 bus stops before my bus stopped for the red light...
Haiz.. Maybe the one thing i can be optimistic with is the cheaper bus ride i had.. if it's an air-con bus, it will be a few cents more. So in conclusion, i still save a little.. Haha...
