Have you got a specific place that you will stand in the MRT?
For me, do have one place I will stand on NEL.. It's usually one cabin after the door for the disabled. Cos it's the exit nearest to the escalator up the Kovan station. Another reason is, there got fire extinguisher.
Haha, i'm very kia si.. Sometimes i will visualise what if the auto-mated NEL were to caught fire? I will be pull the cover of the fire extinguisher, then unleash it from the 'belt'.. Haha.. Another scene will be when the NEL were to split into 2. I see myself with one leg locked onto the metal rod and me saving ppl from the tracks.. Wahaha.. What my sis will say "That's why needa buy insurance".. That's true.. Who can really say that it's 100% safe? Esp there's no driver.
Anyway, had watched "Sinking of Japan" last night. That's why had this kinda thought. The show started with earthquake.. Then all the suay things seemed to happen at the same time.. Due to the plates movements lah.. Volcano eruptions lah, Earthquake, Erosions, Tsunamis, almost every natural disasters all genna dio...
Ended up the hero "草本刚" died in order to save the country. In order not to sink the whole of Japan, the clever ppl decided to stop the plates from moving. So they planted lotsa bombs in the water.. But they need a super good iginite or something like that to activate.. So this Grass gotta go into the submarine and put into the specific underwater tower.. So the explosion start from his side loh..
I'm a fan of Natural Disasters movies or movies that destroy the whole country.. Sadist siah? Shows like The Day After Tomorrow, Vertical Limit, Volcano, Independence Day, The Storm etc etc.. nice.. nice..
But for this Sinking of Japan, hmm, it's the first time Japan do up some kinda megamovie.. It's effects were okay. But i think that the feelings are not emotional enough. They covered a lot of things.. Got a lot of things to show the audience. But they neglected the micro stuff.. like the kids' thoughts.. Not much bloody scenes.. Just from a topographic view of many ppl fell as the bridge collapse or road gave in.. Looks more like ants in action.
Not as fantastic as Hollywood.. But worth watching. Afterall, Cathay is having their tix at low rates.
